description Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de síndrome de burnout en el profesional de enfermería del servicio de emergencia COVID del Hospital Regional de Ica 2021. Material y Método: Metodología de enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, y de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. La población del estudio estará conformada por un total de 35 enfermeras del servicio de emergencia COVID del hospital Regional de Ica. Para la Técnica y recolección de datos se utilizará el cuestionario Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), consta de 22 ítems con 3 dimensiones, agotamiento emocional con 9 ítems, despersonalización con 5 ítems y realización personal con 8 ítems, previa autorización y consentimiento informado de los participantes. Resultados: se presentarán a través de tablas y figuras descriptivas de la variable de estudio. Conclusiones: el estudio aportará información valiosa para los directivos de la institución, permitiendo adoptar estrategias de mejora en beneficio de la población de enfermeras y entidad sanitaria.
