A pesar de los avances, persisten desafíos como la falta de recursos, infraestructura deficiente y marcos regulatorios débiles, especialmente en áreas rurales. También se identificaron conflictos éticos en farmacias comerciales donde priman intereses económicos. Se concluye que fortalecer las políticas públicas, implementar programas de formación continua y promover la infraestructura adecuada en boticas es esencial para optimizar la atención farmacéutica en la región.

It was evidenced that this practice significantly improves adherence to treatment, pharmaceutical education and use. rational medication, benefiting patients with chronic and psychiatric diseases. Despite progress, challenges such as lack of resources, poor infrastructure and weak regulatory frameworks persist, especially in rural areas. Ethical conflicts were also identified in commercial pharmacies where economic interests prevail.
