Materiales y métodos se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo y de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 100 pacientes gran quemados post alta en un Hospital de Lima 2024, con una muestra que fue 80 pacientes. El instrumento fue el cuestionario Impacto Psicológico en Pacientes Gran Quemados y la técnica que se utilizó es la encuesta que fue validada por juicios de expertos en Perú. Resultados el análisis de los ítems obtenidos para determinar la ansiedad son: en el ítem "mínimo o ninguno", 18 pacientes, que representa el 22.5%; en "depresivo leve", 34 pacientes, corresponden al 42,5%; en "depresivo moderado", 22 pacientes, equivalente al 27,5%; y en "depresivo severo", 6 pacientes, lo que representa el 7,5%, con un total de 80 pacientes que representa al 100%. Conclusión el cuidado de pacientes con grandes quemaduras requiere un enfoque multidisciplinario que aborde tanto las necesidades físicas como psicológicas.

The objective is to determine the psychological impact of severely burned patients post-discharge in a Hospital in Lima 2024. Materials and methods: a quantitative approach, descriptive type, non- experimental and cross-sectional design was used. The population was made up of 100 severely burned patients post discharge from a Hospital in Lima 2024, with a sample that was 80 patients. The instrument was the Psychological Impact on Patients questionnaire. Gran Quemados and the technique that was used is the survey that was validated by expert judgments in Peru. Results of the analysis of the items obtained to determine anxiety are: in the item "minimal or none", 18 patients, which represents 22.5%; in "mild depressive", 34 patients, correspond to 42.5%; in "moderate depressive", 22 patients, equivalent to 27.5%; and in "severe depressive", 6 patients, representing 7.5%, with a total of 80 patients representing 100%.
