Los materiales y métodos de este presente estudio de caso clínico, lo realiza el personal de salud, con un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño no experimental y descriptivo. Este estudio se basará en los libros NANDA, NOC y NIC para recopilar datos del paciente. De acuerdo a los resultados se describieron cinco diagnósticos de los cuales el principal fue termorregulación ineficaz relacionado con deshidratación evidenciado por aumento de la temperatura de 38°c a 39°c por encima del rango normal y piel caliente al tacto. Como conclusión respecto al primer diagnóstico, termorregulación ineficaz relacionado con deshidratación evidenciado por aumento de la temperatura de 38 °C a 39 °C y piel caliente al tacto, se logró una ejecución del 100 % de las intervenciones enfermeras. Se observaron signos de regulación térmica, estabilización de signos vitales y reducción progresiva del malestar febril, lo cual indica respuesta favorable.

Materials and methods: this clinical case study was conducted by healthcare personnel using a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental and descriptive design. Data collection was based on the NANDA, NOC, and NIC classifications to assess the patient comprehensively. Results: five nursing diagnoses were identified, the primary one being ineffective thermoregulation related to dehydration, as evidenced by an elevated body temperature ranging from 38°C to 39°C—above the normal range—and warm skin to the touch. Conclusion: regarding the primary diagnosis of ineffective thermoregulation related to dehydration, evidenced by an increased temperature from 38°C to 39°C and warm skin to the touch, 100% of the planned nursing interventions were carried out.
