Material y métodos: se realizo un estudio de caso clínico, cuantitativa, transversal, descriptiva y no experimental, aplicando instrumento de la teórica Marjory Gordon los 11 patrones funcionales, entrevista y taxonomías NANDA, NIC y NOC. La muestra de estudio fue un adulto mayor del sexo femenino de 65 años con diagnóstico de angina inestable. Resultados: según la priorización del diagnósticos e intervenciones: patrón respiratorio ineficaz relacionado con posición corporal que inhibe la expansión de los pulmones evidenciado por hipoxemia. Se destacar el 85% de las intervenciones se llevaron a cabo exitosamente debido al manejo inmediato en la administración de oxígeno. El 15 % restante está en curso ya que se mantiene con la administración de oxígeno a medio litro, Asimismo los demás diagnósticos se evidencio una mejora similar, basado en gráficos previos. Conclusión: las acciones efectuadas demuestran que las intervenciones de enfermería fundamentadas por la taxonomía NANDA, NIC y NOC aportan la recuperación del cuidado del paciente. No obstante, el bienestar psicológico es esencial.

Material and methods: a clinical case study with a quantitative, crosssectional, descriptive, and non-experimental design was conducted. The assessment instrument was based on Marjory Gordon’s theory of the 11 functional health patterns, complemented with interviews and the NANDA, NIC, and NOC taxonomies. The study sample consisted of a 65-year-old female older adult diagnosed with unstable angina. Results: according to the prioritization of nursing diagnoses and interventions, the ineffective breathing pattern related to body position that inhibits lung expansion, evidenced by hypoxemia, achieved 85% effectiveness in interventions due to the immediate management of oxygen administration. The remaining 15% is still in progress, as oxygen is maintained at half a liter. Likewise, the other diagnoses showed similar improvement based on previous charts. Conclusion: the interventions performed demonstrated that nursing actions supported by NANDA, NIC, and NOC taxonomies contribute significantly to the patient’s recovery.
