description Objetivo: determinar el conocimiento y cuidados del catéter venoso central del enfermero de la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Víctor Ramos Guardia, Huaraz 2025. Materiales y métodos: el estudio tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo; un enfoque metodológico de tipo no experimental, con un diseño transversal; la población estará constituida por 25 profesionales de enfermería que desempeñan sus funciones en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Víctor Ramos Guardia, considerando una muestra censal, para lo cual se utilizara los instrumentos del cuestionario y lista de cotejo. Resultados: lo encontrado en la investigación, serán revelados a través de tablas y gráficos procesados en el programa de software de hoja de cálculo Microsoft Excel, que se interpretan para conocer el cuidado en el manejo del catéter venoso central en enfermeros. Conclusión: esta investigación proporciona información significativa que contribuye a mejorar la gestión del catéter venoso central por parte del personal de enfermería, con el fin de evitar infecciones relacionadas con su uso.

Results: The findings of the research will be revealed through tables and graphs processed in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software program. which are interpreted to understand the care in the management of central venous catheters in nurses.
