description Objetivo: determinar los factores asociados a la infección del catéter venoso central en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital José Casimiro Ulloa – 2022. La muestra se conformó por 60 pacientes de la unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital José Casimiro Ulloa, durante los meses octubre a diciembre del 2022. Los instrumentos fueron una ficha de recolección de datos y un cuestionario validado. Resultados: los resultados serán presentados en tablas y gráficos estadísticos, utilizando las medidas de tendencia central para el análisis cuantitativo. Conclusiones: la investigación brindará datos que contribuirán a la mejora del proceso de atención enfermero, el que va a redundar en la calidad del cuidado que se brinda al paciente.
