description Objetivo: evaluar el conocimiento, actitudes y prácticas del consumo de antibióticos en vías respiratorias en los pobladores del Asentamiento Humano Bayovar, San Juan de Lurigancho, septiembre, 2022. Materiales y métodos: la presente investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo, no experimental, de tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal y prospectivo. La población de estudio fue de 1 600 habitantes del AA.HH. Bayovar, la muestra estuvo conformada por 228 personas adultas de ambos sexos entre las edades de 18 a 70 años. Resultado: los pobladores encuestados presentaron un conocimiento medio con 48%, resaltando la actitud positiva con 46%, con relevancia sobre las prácticas del consumo de antibióticos con denominación casi siempre en un 32%. Conclusiones: se logró evaluar el conocimiento, actitudes y prácticas del consumo de antibióticos en los pobladores del Asentamiento Humano Bayovar, San Juan de Lurigancho, septiembre, 2022.

Bayovar, the sample consisted of 228 adults of both sexes between the ages of 18 and 70 years. Result: the surveyed inhabitants presented an average knowledge with 48%, highlighting the positive attitude with 46%, with relevance on the practices of antibiotic consumption with denomination almost always in 32%.
