Además, esta enfermedad es uno de los cinco principales factores de riesgo de tuberculosis relacionado con la salud. Por lo tanto, la diabetes es la principal causa de ceguera en personas de entre 40 a 74 años. El presente trabajo, proyecto de investigación se desarrollará con el objetivo: Determinar el conocimiento sobre la prevención del pie diabético, en pacientes con diabetes mellitus del Centro de Salud Pedro López Guillen, Lima 2024. Material y Método: es enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. La población está conformada por 35 pacientes. Técnica e instrumento: se utilizó un cuestionario, previo autorización y consentimiento informado de los participantes. Resultados: los datos recolectados serán procesados, codificados e ingresados en una base de diseño en Excel y serán tabulados y procesados bajo un sistema, empleando el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 22. Conclusión: la presencia de la diabetes en los usuarios se asocia principalmente a factores de riesgo, por ello es importante tener un conocimiento previo en dicha enfermedad y conocer la prevención del pie diabético, para prevenir amputaciones entre otros.

This disease does not respect gender, age, beliefs, socioeconomic level, it affects all age groups, causing complications. Therefore, new data predict that the number of people with diabetes will increase to 553 million in 2030. In addition, this disease is one of the five main health related risk factors for tuberculosis. Therefore, diabetes is the leading cause of blindness in people between 40 and 74 years of age. The present work, research project will be developed with the objective: Determine the knowledge about the prevention of diabetic foot, in patients with diabetes mellitus at the Pedro López Guillen Health Center, Lima 2024. Material and Method: it is a quantitative, descriptive approach, design non experimental and cross-sectional. The population is made up of 35 patients. Technique and instrument: a questionnaire was used, with prior authorization and informed consent of the participants. Results: the data collected will be processed, coded and entered into a design database in Excel and will be tabulated and processed under a system, using the statistical package SPSS version 22.
