Se abordó una población finita, compuesta por 61 pacientes atendidos CMI Cesar López Silva, durante los meses enero y febrero del 2024. La muestra será censal. Los instrumentos fueron el cuestionario PEPS-I para evaluar los estilos de vida y el test de Findrisk para evaluar el riesgo de diabetes. Resultados: la mayoría de los participantes tienen un estilo de vida no saludable 75,41% (N=46), mientras que solo una minoría lleva un estilo de vida saludable 24,59% (N=15). El riesgo de diabetes mellitus tipo II en los participantes. La mayoría de los participantes tienen un riesgo alto de desarrollar diabetes 36,07% (N=22), seguido por aquellos con un riesgo moderado 27,87% (N=17). Un 21,31% (N=13) de los participantes presentan un riesgo ligeramente elevado, mientras que un 11,48% (N=7) tienen un riesgo bajo. Solo un 3,28% (N=2) de los participantes se encuentran en la categoría de riesgo muy alto. El valor del chi-cuadrado de Pearson indica una significación asintótica bilateral de p=0,002, lo que evidencia una relación estadísticamente significativa. Conclusiones: existe una relación significativa entre los estilos de vida y el riesgo de diabetes mellitus tipo II en pacientes atendidos en el CMI Cesar López Silva, Villa el Salvador-2024.

A finite population was approached, made up of 61 patients treated by CMI Cesar López Silva, during the months of January and February 2024. The sample will be census-based. The instruments were the PEPS-I questionnaire to evaluate lifestyles and the Findrisk test to evaluate the risk of diabetes. Results: the majority of participants have an unhealthy lifestyle 75.41% (N=46), while only a minority has a healthy lifestyle 24.59% (N=15). The risk of type II diabetes mellitus in participants.
