En referente a la variable comunicación terapéutica se aplicó el cuestionario, compuesto de 20 interrogatorios politómicas con cuatro dimensiones: con valor finales Buena, regular y mala comunicación; Ambos instrumentos fueron validados y confiabilizados. Resultados: el 63,33% de los participantes eran de sexo femenino, el 40% se encontraba entre 26-35 años; respecto a la adherencia al tratamiento se obtuvo 73,3% mala, 26,7% regular y 0% buena, respecto a la estrategia de comunicación se obtuvo 30% mala, 33,33% regular y 36,7% buena. Conclusiones: se pude aseverar que, existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre la adherencia al tratamiento y la estrategia de comunicación, obteniendo un p= 0,003 y un coeficiente de Rho de Spearman de 0,518, lo que permite afirmar que la relación es positiva y moderada.

Methodology: a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional study was conducted. The sample and population consisted of 80 patients. To measure the adherence variable, a 22-question, dichotomous questionnaire was applied, with four dimensions; the final values were adherent and non-adherent. Regarding the therapeutic communication variable, a questionnaire was applied, composed of 20 polytomous questions with four dimensions: with final values of good, regular, and poor communication; both instruments were validated and reliable. Results: 63.33% of the participants were female, 40% were between 26 and 35 years old; regarding treatment adherence, the following scores were obtained: 73.3% poor, 26.7% regular, and 0% good; regarding the communication strategy, the scores were obtained: 30% poor, 33.33% regular, and 36.7% good.
