La técnica usada fue la entrevista con el paciente/familiares, los instrumentos fueron la Escala de Aldrete y el instrumento de recolección de datos fue la escala de valoración de los 11 patrones funcionales de Marjory Gordon. Resultados: de acuerdo a la priorización de diagnósticos de enfermería, Dolor agudo relacionado con agentes lesivos físicos evidenciado por expresiones faciales de dolor: dolor abdominal EVA 07/10, se obtuvo un 70% de efectividad en las intervenciones ya que el paciente tuvo una reducción considerable del dolor, aunque evidencia fascias de dolor de forma intermitente. Conclusiones: en el primer diagnóstico se obtuvo 70% de efectividad, así mismo se evidencia que en todas las intervenciones no se lograron una efectividad total por lo que se queda a evaluación.

The population consisted of one adult male patient being treated in the post-anesthesia care unit after undergoing a laparoscopic appendectomy. The technique used was an interview with the patient/family, the instruments used were the Aldrete Scale, and the data collection instrument was the Marjory Gordon 11 Functional Patterns Assessment Scale. Results: According to the prioritization of nursing diagnoses, acute pain related to physical injury evidenced by facial expressions of pain: abdominal pain VAS 07/10. The interventions were 70% effective, as the patient experienced a considerable reduction in pain, although he intermittently exhibited painful fasciae. Conclusions: The initial diagnosis was 70% effective.
