Tratamos de abarcar las distintas etapas que hemos abarcado en este controvertido tema de la Oclusión y la relación con la ortodoncia, escuelas de oclusión, clasificaciones de maloclusión en ortodoncia, articuladores usados en ortodoncia y ajuste oclusal como última etapa del tratamiento de ortodoncia. Es por esto que a la luz de los conocimientos actuales de oclusión la ortodoncia no solo se debe centrar en una simple alineación dental o diseño de sonrisa, debemos de poner énfasis en un nuevo concepto en la práctica de nuestra especialidad

Modern orthodontics represents new challenges that must overcome not only aesthetic expectations and demands, but also functional ones, providing and perpetuating the individual's quality of life. We try to cover the different stages that we have covered in this controversial topic of Occlusion and the relationship with orthodontics, occlusion schools, classifications of malocclusion in orthodontics, articulators used in orthodontics and occlusal adjustment as the last stage of orthodontic treatment.
