En los resultados el nivel de autoestima presentó un mayor porcentaje de 61,4% en nivel baja de autoestima. En referencia a las clases de maloclusión presentó una mayor prevalencia de 60,0% en maloclusión clase III. En referencia al sexo encontramos que existe relación con el nivel de autoestima (p=0,018), presentó un mayor porcentaje de 38,6%, presentan un nivel baja de autoestima en el sexo femenino. A su vez observamos que el sexo tiene relación con la maloclusión (p=0,043), presentó un mayor porcentaje de 40,0%, donde exhibe maloclusión clase III en el sexo femenino. En referencia a la edad encontramos que existe relación con el nivel de autoestima (p=0,046), presentó un mayor porcentaje de 29,3% en nivel bajo de autoestima entre las edades de 26 – 33 años. A su vez observamos que la edad tiene relación con la maloclusión (p=0,025), presentó un mayor porcentaje de 29,3% en maloclusión clase III entre las edades de 26 – 33 años. De acuerdo con la prueba de chi cuadrado, hay relación entre el nivel de autoestima y maloclusión (p <0,05). Concluyendo que existe relación entre nivel de autoestima y maloclusión en pacientes atendidos en el consultorio dental CZ, Surco-Lima.
