La escala utilizada para la medición de la variable de estudio fue la Escala de Resiliencia de Wagnild & Young, la cual mide la resiliencia en torno a cinco dimensiones: satisfacción personal, ecuanimidad, sentirse bien solo, confianza en sí mismo y perseverancia. La muestra estuvo conformada por 100 pacientes diagnosticados con cáncer durante los meses junio y julio del presente año. Los resultados reportaron que el nivel de resiliencia total en los pacientes es bajo (62%), mientras que en sus respectivas dimensiones tales como, ecuanimidad (77%), perseverancia (68%), confianza en sí mismo (67%), satisfacción personal (69%) y sentirse bien solo (88%). Estos resultados mencionados generaron preocupación debido al alto riesgo que representa. Por tal motivo, se elaboró el programa de intervención para así lograr aumentar el nivel de resiliencia

Sáenz", in the district of Jesus Maria. The research design was transverse descriptive type. The scale used for the measurement of the study variable was the Wagnild & Young Resilience Scale, which measures resilience around five dimensions: satisfaction, equanimity, feeling good alone, self-confidence and perseverance. The sample consisted of 100 patients diagnosed with cancer during the months of June and July of this year. The results reported that the level of total resilience in the patients is low (62%), while in their respective dimensions such as, equanimity (77%), perseverance (68%), self confidence personal (69%) and feeling good alone (88%). These results have raised concern due to the high risk it represents.
