El presente estudio, tuvo como objetivo determinar los factores asociados al comportamiento sexual y reproductivo de los adolescentes de la Institución Educativa Nicolás La Torre García, Chiclayo, junio - Setiembre del 2015. Metodología: Es un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal, La población está constituida por 1638 estudiantes la institución Educativa Nicolás La Torre García, Chiclayo, junio- setiembre del 2015, que tuvo una muestra de 260 adolescentes. Los resultados son: Se encontraron bajos porcentajes de estudiantes que trabajan, la frecuencia de convivencia adecuada con padres, fue elevada; así como las condiciones de la vivienda o los servicios básicos. Las condiciones socioeconómicas no representaron mayor riesgo. La religión representó un factor muy importante, por otro lado la fecundidad en las familias fue alta. Las adolescentes manifestaron estar enamoradas con niveles de autoestima y percepción de género. Sólo el 38% de los adolescentes manejan información sobre sexualidad, siendo el internet la principal fuente, el 62% no investiga ni tampoco busca esta información. Los adolescentes no conocen los proveedores de salud para recibir información, de los que si conocen estos centros no acuden por que no tienen dinero para trasladarse. El 35% de los estudiantes refirió ya haber tenido relaciones sexuales, de éstos, el 91% manifestaron que el preservativo fue el de mayor uso. El embarazo en la adolescencia se presentó en el 9% del total de las adolescentes, y se ha practicado el aborto en 1% de los casos. La comunicación sobre sexualidad, accesibilidad a servicio de salud y las relaciones sexuales se asocian al comportamiento sexual y reproductivo de los adolescentes. The present study aimed to determine factors associated with the sexual and reproductive behavior of adolescents of the Educational Institution Nicolás La Torre, Chiclayo, June - September, 2015. Methodology: It is a quantitative, descriptive and transversal study, The population is constituted By 1638 students the educational institution Nicolás La Torre, Chiclayo, June-September 2015, which had a sample of 260 adolescents. The results are: Low percentages of working students were found, the frequency of adequate coexistence with parents was high; As well as the conditions of housing or basic services. Socioeconomic conditions were not at greater risk. Religion was a very important factor, on the other hand the fertility in the families was high. The adolescents stated that they were in love with levels of self-esteem and gender perception. Only 38% of adolescents handle information about sexuality, with the Internet being the main source, 62% do not investigate or seek this information. The adolescents do not know the health providers to receive information, of those that if they know these centers do not come because they do not have money to move. 35% of the students reported having had sex, of these, 91% said that condoms were the most used. Adolescent pregnancy occurred in 9% of all adolescents, and abortion was performed in 1% of cases. Communication about sexuality, accessibility to health service and sexual relations are associated with the sexual and reproductive behavior of adolescents.
