description El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo demostrar que aplicar la responsabilidad social empresarial genera ventajas competitivas frente sus competidores, mediante el método de revisión sistemática se realizó la recopilación de información sistemáticamente organizada encontrando 30 artículos científicos debidamente indizados. Podemos concluir que las empresas las empresas que participan en actividades de RSE, las que invierten en este campo y sobre todo las que trabajan este aspecto de forma estratégica, son aquellas que tienen una estructura organizacional definida con parámetros y directrices que buscan justamente potenciar la cultura organizacional responsable. En consecuencia, las actividades de RSE influirían tanto en el nivel como en la persistencia del desempeño al atraer a los clientes a comprar, aumentar la satisfacción del cliente, mejorar la lealtad del cliente y mejorar las relaciones con los empleados y las partes interesadas externas.
