description El proyecto se realizó en macetas colocadas al aire libre en la ciudad de Trujillo con el propósito de evaluar el efecto de la dosis de la enmienda en cuanto al crecimiento y rendimiento del Raphanus sativus. Esta investigación se plantea como una alternativa para minimizar el uso de fertilizantes químicos, reducir los impactos negativos y mejorar las propiedades y calidad del suelo con vegetación, utilizando una enmienda natural de salitre. El diseño fue experimental, cuantitativa, donde el estímulo fue la aplicación de la enmienda natural y el efecto la variación en la altura, número, longitud y ancho de hoja de la planta y el rendimiento de las plantas de rabanito, los resultados se midieron a los 10, 20 y 30 días. Se evidenció que la enmienda natural E3 con mayor dosis de salitre (3%), presentó un efecto favorable en el desarrollo vegetativo y rendimiento del Raphanus sativus en condiciones de macetero en pasados 30 días.
