Ante esta problemática, se planteó como objetivo general diseñar la infraestructura vial urbana para mejorar la transitabilidad vehicular y peatonal en el Centro Poblado. De esta manera, se planteó como hipótesis “si se diseña la infraestructura vial es posible mejorar la transitabilidad vehicular y peatonal en el Centro Poblado San Agustín”. Esta investigación presentó una metodología con enfoque cuantitativa, tipo aplicada y nivel descriptivo. Obtuvo como resultados un IMDA de 160 y un ESAL DE 259,983 EE. Finalmente, concluyó en su diseño de pavimento rígido con espesores de 15cm de subbase granular y 14cm de losa de concreto 280 kg/cm2. Asimismo, la brecha económica inicial del sector se encontraba en 68%, la cual este proyecto puede reducir un porcentaje de 0.07%, obteniendo así con la construcción del mismo, una brecha actual de 67.93%
