Para el recojo de datos se aplicó el inventario de depresión de Beck y la la escala de adherencia terapéutica (EAT) de Soria Trujano et al., (2009. Para el análisis de datos se utilizó el programa SPSS v26, el software libre Jamovi y el análisis correlacional se aplicó el coeficiente de correlación de rangos de Spearman. Los resultados evidencian que existe una correlación estadísticamente significativa, negativa y tamaño del efecto grande entre depresión y adherencia terapéutica. En el análisis descriptivo, se ha identificado una prevalencia del nivel de depresión leve (51.67%) y Alta Adherencia terapéutica (52.86%) y en pacientes con Tuberculosis de un Hospital de El Empalme. Se concluye que la depresión es un factor que afecta la adherencia terapéutica de los pacientes con tuberculosis.
