El tipo de investigación fue no experimental de corte transversal, tipo correlacionaldescriptiva. Se tomó como muestra a 374 pobladores empleando la técnica de la encuesta, los instrumentos utilizados fueron dos cuestionarios, una por cada variable, para la recolección de datos. Los resultados mostraron que el 61% considera que la gestión de promoción se encuentra en un nivel regular y un turismo receptivo en un nivel medio con el 61%. En conclusión, existe relación entre la gestión de promoción y el turismo receptivo, debido a que el valor p (Sig. (Unilateral)), es “0,000”, siendo este menor al 0.05; permitiendo aceptar la hipótesis de investigación.
