Esta investigación fue de tipo aplicado con un enfoque cuantitativo. El diseño fue experimental, de corte longitudinal porque se realizó un monitoreo a la unidad muestral por un periodo de tiempo, y preexperimental porque solo se contó con un grupo de estudio. Se pudo establecer que existe diferencia entre el conocimiento antes y después del monitoreo con un sig. 0.000< 0.05, lo que llevo a establecer que existe un efecto positivo del monitoreo utilizando medios electrónicos que conforman la telesalud.
