description La presente investigación fue desarrollada usando diferentes metodologías dentro de ellas la metodología ABC, las capacitaciones, la estandarización de funciones y planificación de inventarios en la empresa Fisher International Company, esto con la finalidad de mejorar la rentabilidad de la empresa. El tipo de investigación fue no experimental. Se usó como técnicas el análisis de datos, la observación y la encuesta. Las causas principales encontradas que afectan la rentabilidad fueron: la falta de capacitación, incorrecta distribución de mercadería, falta de control de existencias, incumplimiento de funciones y mala derivación de funciones; las mejoras implementadas fueron: realizar un cronograma de capacitaciones, aplicar metodología ABC, planificar cronograma de inventarios y la estandarización de funciones. Dentro de los principales resultados tenemos el aumento de la rentabilidad bruta de 5.14% y la rentabilidad neta de 6.14%.
