Utilizó una de tipo aplicada, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel explicativo, con un diseño no experimental - Transversal, su muestra estuvo conformada por el administrador del minimarket y por la documentación financiera periodo 2022-2023 del minimarket. Los resultados reflejaron un bajo nivel de control interno en el área de almacén, donde no se viene ejecutando correctamente el Kardex. No obstante, se identificó un alza en los costos operativos, que representaron el 71% de las ventas en 2023, en comparación con el 69.4% registrado en 2022. En concluyó, el control interno en almacén si influye la rentabilidad del minimarket, aunque el nivel de las pérdidas no se determina con precisión, debido a problemas en el control de inventarios, que no identifica la caducidad de productos.
