description En la presente investigación se desarrolló como objetivo general, determinar de qué manera la implementación del Gobierno Digital contribuye a la gestión del Departamento del Registro Civil de la Municipalidad Distrital de Laredo, 2021 . Siendo el enfoque de la investigación cualitativo, con el tipo de investigación aplicada, con diseño de investigación sociocrítica, empleando el método analítico sintético, descriptivo y sociológico. Obteniendo como resultados, que los alcances del Gobierno Digital mejoran el DRCMDL, contribuyendo en los servicios al ciudadano, en la participación ciudadana y en la transparencia de los trámites administrativos; que el desarrollo y proceso del GD en el Departamento del Registro Civil, debe seguir implementándose; que los trámites administrativos del Departamento del Registro Civil deben realizarse de manera virtual a través del Gobierno Digital; y se determinó que el GD sí favorece la optimización y simplificación en los trámites administrativos del Departamento del Registro Civil; concluyendo que la implementación del Gobierno Digital contribuye a la gestión del Departamento del Registro Civil de la Municipalidad Distrital de Laredo, 2021 .
