La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada con un nivel correlacional, en razón se evalúa el grado de asociación entre las dos variables. De igual forma, el diseño de investigación fue no experimental transeccional, en razón que no se manipuló las variables de la investigación. La población total fue 149 trabajadores administrativos de la Municipalidad Distrital de Independencia, cuya muestra estuvo representado por 108 trabajadores administrativos, compuesta por los varones y mujeres de diferentes edades con rango de 20 a 50 años de edad. Para la evaluación de la variable de clima organizacional y desempeño laboral, los instrumentos empleados fueron validados a través de juicio de expertos, de los cuales se comprobó su fiabilidad a través del Alfa de Cronbach con 0,786 para la variable clima organizacional y para la variable desempeño laboral 0,759, los cuales revelan la confiabilidad aceptable. Finalmente, los resultados manifiestan que existe una relación entre el clima organizacional y el desempeño laboral en los trabajadores administrativos de la Municipalidad Distrital de Independencia, Huaraz 2021 (r= 0,683; p < 0,000).
