description El presente trabajo de investigación titula “Participación de los padres de familia y la gestión educativa de la institución “Johannes Gutenberg” El Agustino Lima 2016”, el problema general que da origen a la presente investigación es ¿Cómo la participación de los Padres de Familia, se relaciona con la gestión educativa en la Institución Educativa “Johannes Gutenberg” El Agustino Lima - 2016?, además, como objetivo general con la presente investigación se pretende determinar la relación entre la participación de los Padres de Familia y la gestión educativa en la Institución Educativa “Johannes Gutenberg” El Agustino Lima - 2016. La metodología es: hipotético deductivo. Es decir en un proceso que inicia de una afirmación hipotética para luego determinar su refutación o falsedad, luego estas hipótesis deben confrontarse con los hechos; Así mismo., el tipo de estudio es básica orientado a la búsqueda de nuevos conocimientos; el diseño de la investigación fue no experimental, de corte transversal, correlacional; La población está conformada por 274 Padres de Familia del 3ro, 4to y 5to año de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Johannes Gutenberg” El Agustino y el muestreo fue no probabilística, tomada por conveniencia integrada por 160 Padres de Familia del 3ro, 4to y 5to año de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Johannes Gutenberg” El Agustino Los resultados demuestran que se ha logrado cumplir con el objetivo general, los resultados del rho Spearman, evidencian que existe una correlación estadísticamente significativa y muy alta, entre participación de los padres de familia y la Gestión educativa en la Institución Educativa “Johannes Gutenberg” El Agustino Lima - 2016 (rs = 0.647, p< 0.05).
