description El objetivo principal del estudio fue determinar la relación entre la Participación Ciudadana y Presupuesto Participativo en la Municipalidad Distrital de Izcuchaca. Tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo correlacional, de tipo aplicada con un diseño no experimental y corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 40 ciudadanos. Se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta, asimismo se usaron 2 cuestionarios tipo Likert que comprendieron 31 ítems entre ambas variables. La validez se determinó mediante el juicio de 3 expertos, que calificaron aplicables los instrumentos y la confiabilidad se calculó mediante El Alfa de Cronbach que fue de 0.835 entre ambas variables. Se utilizó programa estadístico SPSS V25.0 Los resultados descriptivos mostraron que el 75% de los encuestados no tiene conocimientos sobre la Participación Ciudadana y 60 % no tiene conocimientos en Presupuesto Participativo. Se Concluyó a través de la prueba de correlación Rho Spearman cuyo coeficiente arrojo un 0.293, así mismo se observa una probabilidad mayor a 0.05, del modo que p tiene un valor de 0.066, por medio de este resultado, se concluyó que hay una relación baja y positiva entre ambas variables de estudio.
