description “SISTEMA WEB APLICANDO EL MVC PARA MEJORAR LA GESTION DE TRÁMITE DOCUMENTARIO EN LA MUNICIPALIDAD DISTRITAL DE SANTA “ La Municipalidad Distrital de Santa es una entidad pública que promueve de forma democrática y concertada el desarrollo integral prestando servicios de calidad, manejando los recursos públicos de forma responsable, administrando el territorio del distrito cumpliendo con los objetivos del Plan de Desarrollo Concertado para poder satisfacer las necesidades de los habitantes de Santa. en este contexto se presentan deficiencias, principalmente en la gestión de trámite documentario el cual se realiza en base a cuadernos de registro y hojas de trámite, tal situación conlleva a un lento proceso de la gestión documentaria, además no es posible realizar el seguimiento de manera oportuna ya que estas tareas consumen una gran cantidad de tiempo y recursos, ocasionando con ello pérdida de archivos en las dependencias, obstaculizando el desempeño del trabajador y perjudicando directamente al público en general. El trabajo tiene como objetivo describir la optimización de tareas que consumen tiempo al trabajador, con el propósito de incrementar la calidad de atención al público con procesos agiles utilizando la metodología RUP “Proceso Unificado Racional”, y mejores prácticas para el sistema, Se utiliza herramientas de software libre con gestor de base de datos MySQL. Los resultados obtenidos durante las pruebas fueron óptimos cumpliendo y satisfaciendo los indicadores de calidad
