description El objetivo de esta investigación fue definir la influencia de una aplicación web para la gestión de incidencias en la Central de Monitoreo de Seguridad Ciudadana de la Municipalidad Distrital de Comas. La investigación fue de tipo aplicada, explicativa, con diseño pre-experimental. Para la medición de los indicadores se tomó una muestra estratificada en 16 reportes de incidencias empleando la técnica del fichaje, en el pre-test se obtuvo como resultado en el número total de incidencias atendidas de 2.091, y en el índice de incidencias atendidas de 67.84%, posterior a esto con la implementación de la aplicación web se procedió a realizar el pos-test obteniendo como resultados en el número total de incidencias atendidas de 741, lo cual representa una disminución de 1,350 y un índice de incidencias atendidas de 98.11%, lo cual representa un aumento de 30.27%. De esta manera, en vista a los resultados se concluye que una aplicación web disminuye el número total de incidencias y aumenta el índice de incidencias atendidas, de modo que mejora la gestión de incidencias en la Central de Monitoreo de Seguridad Ciudadana de la Municipalidad Distrital de Comas.
