description La siguiente investigación tuvo como objetivo general realizar el Diseño Geométrico-Estructural de la carretera del tramo Bocapan – Casitas – Contralmirante Villar – Tumbes – 2022; la metodología utilizada es del tipo básica, con un nivel descriptivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, prospectivo; la técnica utilizada para la recolección de datos fue a través de la técnica de la observación y análisis documental, como instrumento se utilizaron la ficha de observación además de la ficha de recojo; la población está compuesta por las redes viales de la provincia Contralmirante Villar – departamento de Tumbes; la muestra está comprendida por el Km 19+000 al 22+062 carretera del tramo Bocapan – Casitas. Los resultados principales obtenidos fueron: un IMDA de 47 veh/día, carretera de tercera clase, velocidad de diseño de 40 km/h, ancho de calzada de 6.60m, ancho de berma de 1.2m, peralte max. de 8%, ESAL de 127239.00 EE, CBR de 6.30%; por último, el paquete estructural de diseño estuvo compuesto por 5 cm de capa de rodadura, 15 cm de base y 15 cm de subbase.
