La investigación fue de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo básico, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental y transversal; la muestra lo constituyeron 40 contadores de empresas dedicadas al rubro textil que operan en el distrito de Puente Piedra, quienes fueron elegidos de manera probabilística. El instrumento fue un cuestionario de 20 ítems, 10 por cada variable, el cual fue validado a través de juicio de expertos y el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados mostraron correlación significativa fuerte entre arrendamiento financiero y situación financiera (rho=0.828; p<0.05); concluyendo que el arrendamiento financiero posee como objetivo, la renovación de maquinarias sin incurrir en los desembolsos de capital y sin poner en riesgo la economía de la empresa, permitiendo a las empresas incrementar sus activos.
