En cuanto al muestreo, fue no probabilístico por conveniencia, con criterios de inclusión y exclusión, a quienes se aplicó la técnica encuesta e instrumentos de dos cuestionarios, conformados por nueve ítems para cada variable. Los resultados obtenidos en la investigación expresan un nivel de prescripción tributaria entre medio (26.9%) y alto (73.1%), mientras que en el desarrollo de la gestión municipal expresa también niveles medio (38.5%) y alto (61.5%). Finalmente, se concluye que existe una relación entre las variables prescripción tributaria y el desarrollo de la gestión municipal (Rho = 0.643 y p = 0.000).
