La muestra fue de 118 estudiantes a quienes se le aplicaron los cuestionarios de aprendizaje cooperativo de los autores Díaz y Hernández (2004) y para las habilidades sociales se utilizó la escala de habilidades sociales de los autores Goldstein, Sprafkin, Gersha, y Paul (1989) ambos cuestionarios adapatados por la investigadora cuyos resultados fueron que el aprendizaje cooperativo se relaciona directa (Rho=0, 781) y significativamente (p=0.000) con las habilidades sociales de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería Mecánica y Energía, Universidad Nacional del Callao, 2019, se acepta la hipótesis alterna y la relación es alta.
