description El objetivo general de esta investigación fue el determinar la relación existente entre las variables de motivación laboral y desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del hospedaje Chota – Piura, año 2023. El tipo de investigación fue de tipo básica. Con enfoque cuantitativo. De diseño no experimental y de nivel correlacional. La población constó de 14 trabajadores del hospedaje Chota. Para realizar la medición se utilizó un instrumento en donde se evidencian las variables de motivación y desempeño laboral. El instrumento fue previamente validado por tres expertos con los grados de maestría y doctorado. Una vez realizado la recolección de datos y de haber terminado el procesamiento de datos en la plataforma estadística SPSS, se realizó la prueba de normalidad y como resultado se analizó en Shapiro – Wilk. Además, como la significancia fue mayor a 0.05 se aceptó la hipótesis nula y se trabajó con el estadístico de correlación paramétrico de Pearson. Como conclusión se determinó que existe una relación positiva considerable entre las variables de motivación laboral y desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del hospedaje Chota – Piura, año 2023.
