description La presente investigación tiene como finalidad, determinar la relación entre el estrés y el desempeño laboral de los colaboradores administrativos del Régimen Laboral del Contrato Administrativo de Servicios-CAS de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. El estudio tiene como variable independiente al “Estrés” y como variable dependiente al “Desempeño laboral”. Se utilizó un diseño, no experimental u observacional de corte transversal descriptivo, utilizando como técnica la encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario para la recopilación de datos. La población está conformada por los administrativos CAS, representado por un total de 120 encuestados como muestra. Existe relación negativa media, entre las variables estrés y desempeño laboral, de acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos según la correlación de Rho de Spearman (-0.209) la significancia p (sig=,0.022) lo que indica que se rechaza la hipótesis de la investigación entre las variables en los colaboradores administrativos del régimen laboral del Contrato Administrativo de servicio (CAS) de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo 2018.
