Es de tipo descriptiva - correlacional, la misma que se realizó con la totalidad de los trabajadores de la municipalidad. La investigación científica se tuvo en cuenta una población de 100 trabajadores de la municipalidad de Condorcanqui, teniendo en cuenta la teoría de planificación estratégica y de gestión. Se trabajó con un tipo de estudio descriptivo correlacional y diseño de investigación no experimental Finalmente, al determinar la correlación entre la variable herramienta de planificación estratégica y gestión municipal se concluyó que si existe correlación determinando que ambas variables son dependientes.
