description La presente investigación titulada “Inteligencia emocional y desempeño laboral del personal de Enfermería del Hospital Nacional PNP Luis N. Sáenz Lima, 2023”, tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre inteligencia emocional y el desempeño laboral del personal de Enfermería del área de emergencias del Hospital Nacional PNP Luis N. Sáenz Lima, 2023. La metodología es de tipo Básica, con enfoque Cuantitativo, de alcance correlacional, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal. Para evaluar la Inteligencia emocional se aplicó el cuestionario de TMMS-24, con respecto a la evaluación del desempeño laboral, se utilizó un cuestionario adaptado de María Llagas en el 2015, escala Likert. Los resultados mostraron una relación positiva alta entre inteligencia emocional y desempeño laboral; de 0,804 conp<0.05, por consiguiente, se rechaza la hipótesis nula y se confirma la hipótesis alterna. Concluyendo que existe una relación significativa entre la inteligencia emocional y el desempeño laboral del personal de Enfermería del área de emergencias del Hospital Nacional PNP Luis N. Sáenz Lima, 2023.
