description Objetivo principal: Determinar la relación entre la elasticidad de la musculatura isquiotibial la intensidad del dolor lumbar en trabajadores que realizan actividad predominante en sedestación, 2023. Materiales y Método: El informe presentó un enfoque cuantitativo donde utilizó el método estadístico para responder a las interrogantes del estudio, el diseño de la investigación será no experimental y el tipo de estudio fue transversal, además de presentar un alcance correlacional. La población de estudio contó con la totalidad de los trabajadores de un centro notarial de abogados, siendo en total 81 los abogados inscritos que laboran en el período de tiempo del año 2023. No se realizó ningún tipo de muestreo considerando que sí se tomará la recolección de datos con la totalidad de la población de estudio por lo que al establecerse un censo serán elegidos todos los participantes que cumplan con los criterios de selección. Resultados: El 50.6% eran mujeres, la media de edad fue de 34.26 años, el 50.6% presentó sobrepeso y el 14.8% obesidad. Mientras el 55.6% y el 67.9% no practicaban ni actividad física ni ningún deporte respectivamente. El promedio de la intensidad del dolor lumbar fue de 5.2 puntos según la escala de EVA. El 45.7% presentó cortedad en la elasticidad de la musculatura isquiotibial mientras que el 29.6% cortedad severa. Además, existió diferencia significativa entre la intensidad del dolor lumbar y la elasticidad de musculatura isquiotibial (P=0.0014), según el análisis de la prueba Kruskal Wallis. Conclusiones: Se concluye que existió relación entre la elasticidad de la musculatura isquiotibial y la intensidad del dolor lumbar, donde a mayor cortedad de la musculatura refirieron mayor intensidad del dolor lumbar.
