El ámbito de acción de esta institución abarca todo el territorio nacional, incluso las zonas que están desprotegidas. En varios años de presencia bomberil en la ciudad de Iquitos, el apoyo a esta institución en temas de infraestructura, logística y prestación de servicios ha sido muy limitado, por esta razón la elaboración de la presente tesis, que se realizó con estudios de la realidad infraestructural y logística que presenta el cuerpo de bomberos en la ciudad de Iquitos, conociendo al bombero voluntario peruano para saber sus necesidades, funciones e historia. Finalmente hemos propuesto un proyecto arquitectónico para brindar a la institución una sede en donde pueda desarrollar las funciones de salvaguardia, instrucción y esparcimiento, brindando los ambientes confortables y necesarios. En nuestra pretensión de mejorar las condiciones y realidad institucional de la XI Comandancia Departamental – Loreto.
