Los resultados muestran que el 80% de los visitantes son turistas extranjeros y el 20% son turistas nacionales y locales; teniendo como prioridad realizar actividades turísticas en bienestar y armonía con el medio ambiente y la naturaleza, siendo las actividades turísticas de mayor interés: con un 39% la toma de ayahuasca, 34% el turismo vivencial, 11% el ecoturismo, 9% el turismo de aventura y 7% el turismo científico. En relación con el cumplimiento de los protocolos de bioseguridad, el 100% de turistas, sí observaron todas las señaléticas puestas por la institución encargada de administrar la reserva (SERNAP), reconociendo así que promover el turismo de naturaleza de manera responsable, si influye en la decisión que tiene el turista al elegir el tipo de turismo que desea realizar y el lugar a visitar. El estudio concluye afirmando, que los turistas en la actualidad y por la emergencia sanitaria optan por realizar turismo de naturaleza, tener contacto directo con el medio ambiente sin aglomeración de personas, buscan lugares que les garantice la menor posibilidad de contagio de COVID-19, además buscan realizar actividades sostenibles en armonía con el medio ambiente, involucrando así a la población o comunidades de su alrededor para su desarrollo.

The research design was descriptive and quantitative in approach, and non-experimental and cross-sectional. The finite population was made up of 350 tourists, foreigners, nationals and locals; and the sample size for 76 tourists who visited the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve, to whom a survey and questionnaire were applied. The results show that 80% of the visitors are foreign tourists and 20% are national and local tourists; having as a priority to carry out tourist activities in well-being and harmony with the environment and nature, being the tourist activities of greatest interest: with 39% taking ayahuasca, 34% experiential tourism, 11% ecotourism, 9% tourism adventure and 7% scientific tourism. In relation to compliance with biosafety protocols, 100% of tourists did observe all the signs posted by the institution in charge of managing the reserve (SERNAP), thus recognizing that promoting nature tourism responsibly, if it influences the decision that the tourist has when choosing the type of tourism that he wishes to carry out and the place to visit.
