Se evaluó a un total de 115 trabajadores mediante el uso del cuestionario de Maslach Burnout Inventory Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS). En los resultados se encontró una prevalencia del 41,74 % del síndrome de burnout; 30,43 % del agotamiento emocional, 15,65 % de despersonalización y el 12,17 % en baja realización personal. Se concluye que existe una alta prevalencia del burnout en el personal de salud del hospital estudiado, lo que evidencia la necesidad de implementar estrategias para mitigar sus efectos.
