El estudio incluyó a 50 cirujanos, según la encuesta realizada entre los dentistas adscritos y autorizados en el COP, región Puno, se observaron diferentes niveles de conocimiento sobre el cáncer bucal. Como resultado, 12 (24 %) odontólogos mostraron un conocimiento bajo sobre cáncer bucal, 14 (28 %) tuvieron un nivel regular, y 24 (48 %) demostraron tener altos conocimientos sobre cáncer bucal. Al analizar las diferentes dimensiones del conocimiento sobre el cáncer bucal entre los cirujanos dentistas: el 58% tenía un nivel regular en la dimensión epidemiológica; el 44 % alcanzó un nivel alto en la dimensión etiopatogénica, el 46 % tuvo un nivel regular en la dimensión diagnóstico, el 60 % mostró conocimientos regulares en la dimensión tratamiento y complicaciones, y el 70 obtuvo un nivel regular de conocimiento en la dimensión prevención. Se dedujo que el conocimiento sobre el cáncer bucal en odontólogos de la ciudad de Juliaca 2022 fue alto.

Como resultado, 12 (24 %) odontólogos mostraron un conocimiento bajo sobre cáncer bucal, 14 (28 %) tuvieron un nivel regular, y 24 (48 %) demostraron tener altos conocimientos sobre cáncer bucal. Al analizar las diferentes dimensiones del conocimiento sobre el cáncer bucal entre los cirujanos dentistas: el 58% tenía un nivel regular en la dimensión epidemiológica; el 44 % alcanzó un nivel alto en la dimensión etiopatogénica, el 46 % tuvo un nivel regular en la dimensión diagnóstico, el 60 % mostró conocimientos regulares en la dimensión tratamiento y complicaciones, y el 70 obtuvo un nivel regular de conocimiento en la dimensión prevención.
