description La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de anticuerpos anti –Hbsag postvacunación contra el antígeno de superficie para hepatitis B en personal de salud del Hospital Víctor Lazarte –Essalud –Trujillo 2016. Siendo un estudio descriptivo transversal.La población objeto de estudio fueron 283 trabajadores, a quienes se les tomo sus respectivas muestras de sangre. Los instrumentos utilizados para la presente investigación fueron ficha de recolección de datos y formato de resultados de los anticuerpos contra el virus de la hepatitis B el último nos da a conocer detalles específicos del nivel de anticuerpos contra el virus de la hepatitis B,el cual ayudo a determinar la protección y no protección contra el virus de la hepatitis B. Los resultados obtenidos de los 283 trabajadores que participaron en el estudio indicaron que el 74.2% del personal de salud se encuentra protegido y 25.8% del personal de salud no se encuentran protegidos, de los cuales el 85.9% representa al personal de sexo femenino y el 14.1% al personal de sexo masculino respectivamente.
