Es posible que los hombres de la selva dispusieran de efectivos conocimientos médicos en base al aprovechamiento de las propiedades curativas de las plantas de tratamiento mágico - mítico pero desconocen casi por completo como resolvieron en el pasado sus problemas de enfermedades.
