Resultados: Se utilizó la estadística descriptiva para el análisis de los datos y para conocer la significancia de los resultados se utilizó la prueba de chi cuadrado. La relación entre la adherencia al control prenatal y el bienestar materno resultó con un valor de significancia bilateral de 0,000 y X 2 tabla = 3.84 y X 2 prueba = 0.036; en tanto, que, la relación entre la adherencia al control prenatal y el bienestar materno se obtuvo un valor de significancia bilateral de 0,000 y X 2 tabla = 2 3.84 y X prueba = 3.10. Conclusión: Si existe relación significativa entre la adherencia al control prenatal y bienestar materno y fetal en la población de estudio, por ende, se aceptó la hipótesis alterna y rechazando la hipótesis nula.

Methodology: Descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, cross-sectional, correlational level. Results: Descriptive statistical methods were used to analyze the data and the chi square test was used to find the significance of the results. The relationship between adherence to prenatal care and maternal well-being resulted in a bilateral significance value of 0.000 and X2 table = 3.84 and X2 test = 0.036; meanwhile, the relationship between adherence to prenatal control and maternal well- being was obtained with a bilateral significance value of 0.000 and X2 table = 3.84 and X2 test = 3.10.
