Para ello, se analizaron las etapas del proceso de aprovechamiento maderable, desde la preevaluación, elaboración y aprobación del Plan Operativo, hasta la movilización de la madera y cierre de actividades. Se utilizó un enfoque de investigación descriptiva de tipo no experimental, con una muestra intencionada representada por la Comunidad Nativa Flor de Chengari. Se emplearon técnicas como encuestas, entrevistas y observación directa para recopilar información sobre costos operativos, administrativos y financieros involucrados en el proceso de extracción. Los resultados evidenciaron que los mayores costos se concentran en la etapa de elaboración del Plan Operativo, representando aproximadamente el 78% del total de los gastos previos a la operación. Asimismo, se verificó que solo el 58% del volumen aprobado se moviliza, debido a limitaciones ambientales, técnicas y logísticas.
