La investigación fue de tipo básica, con un diseño no experimental, descriptivo correlacional, y la muestra consistió en 374 contribuyentes. Según los resultados obtenidos, el 49,5% de los encuestados indicaron que la relación entre la modernización de la gestión pública y la calidad del servicio es regular. En la prueba de hipótesis, se obtuvo un valor de Rho de 0.998 y un valor de Sig. (bilateral) de 0.000, lo que indica una alta correlación y la aceptación de la hipótesis general.
