Metodología, investigación de diseño no experimental, de nivel correlacional, de tipo transversal y prospectivo, la muestra estuvo conformado por 106 profesionales de salud del Hospital Regional de Pucallpa. Se aplicó dos cuestionarios con alternativas múltiples y asignación de valor. Resultados, el 61,3% (65) presentan nivel de inteligencia emocional medio, el 23,6% (25) presentan nivel de inteligencia emocional alto, y el 15,1% (16) presentan bajo nivel de inteligencia emocional; respecto a la dependencia al uso de celular el 59,4% (63) de ellos califican con poca dependencia; el 32,1% (34) de ellos califican como muy dependiente; y el 8,5 (09) califican como nada dependiente; en cuanto a la relación entre Inteligencia emocional y Dependencia al uso de celular; se observa que, de 106 elementos analizados, la mayoría (65) califica como inteligencia emocional medio, de los cuales 57 de ellos expresan ser poco dependiente al uso de celular.
