El objetivo principal fue determinar la efectividad del programa “Estrategias de la Máquina de Funciones”, propuesta pedagógica fundamentada en la Teoría de los Registros de Representación Semiótica de Raymond Duval, para fortalecer el aprendizaje de este contenido. Bajo una metodología de tipo aplicada y un diseño cuasi-experimental, se trabajó con una muestra de 160 estudiantes de tres instituciones educativas de Yarinacocha. El instrumento empleado fue una prueba de aprendizaje de 40 ítems, con una validez de 0.96 y una confiabilidad de 0.82 (KR-20). Los resultados del pretest revelaron que el 90% de los estudiantes se situaban en el nivel “previo al inicio”. Tras la intervención, el 75% del grupo experimental alcanzó niveles de “logro esperado” y “destacado”, mientras que el 90% del grupo control persistió en niveles bajos. El sustento estadístico mediante la prueba U de Mann-Whitney (p=0.000 < 0.05) confirmó diferencias significativas entre grupos. Asimismo, la prueba de Wilcoxon ratificó la mejora intra-grupo y la prueba de Kruskal-Wallis demostró la consistencia del efecto del programa en las tres instituciones.
